General Rate Increase – Westbound from India Zone 1 and 2 to North Europe & Mediterranean

Dear Customer,

 

 
In a continued effort to provide you with a high level of service and uninterrupted services and equipment supply Hapag-Lloyd announces an increased FAK (Freight All Kinds) rate for all cargoes for standard container types on westbound trade from India.

 

 
Valid from August 15, 2016 Hapag-Lloyd’s FAK rate to North Continent and West Mediterranean, subject to applicable surcharges will be:
 Zone 1: USD 650 / 1000 / 1000 per 20′ GP / 40′ GP / 40′ HC
 Zone 2: USD 600 / 1100 / 1100 per 20′ GP / 40′ GP / 40′ HC
Valid from August 15, 2016 Hapag-Lloyd’s FAK rate to East Mediterranean, Black Sea and North Africa, subject to applicable surcharges will be:
 Zone 1: USD 1100 / 1800 / 1800 per 20′ GP / 40′ GP / 40′ HC
 Zone 2: USD 1050 / 1900 / 1900 per 20′ GP / 40′ GP / 40′ HC

 

 
This new rate level is a further step to bring the rates back to sustainable levels and will be applicable from all base ports in India to all North Europe and Mediterranean base ports. Out ports will be subject to the prevailing transport additional in Europe and in Asia.

 

 
India Zone 1 comprises the West Coast ports of India (Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Delhi) and all inland container depot (ICD) locations moving via the ports of Nhava Sheva, Mundra.
India Subcontinent Zone 2 comprises East and South Coast India.
North Europe comprises North West Continent, the U.K., Scandinavia, Baltic and European ports of Russia.

 

 
Mediterranean comprises the West Mediterranean, East Mediterranean, Black Sea and North Africa.
