Freight rates from Shanghai to Rotterdam increased by 3% or $74 to $2,552, and Rotterdam to Shanghai increased by 10% or $56 to $595 per 40-foot container.
The rates from Shanghai to Genoa increased by 12% or $366 to $3,474, while Shanghai to Los Angeles increased by 4% or $95 to $2,686. As it is also reported, those on Shanghai to New York increased by 3% or $83 to $3,393 per 40-foot container.
Meanwhile, the rates from Los Angeles to Shanghai remained unchanged at $729, and Rotterdam to New York increased by 3% or $38 to $1,542 per FEU. Furthermore, the freight from New York to Rotterdam this week increased by 1% or $9 to $970 per 40-foot container.
