Implementation of Port Surcharges at Rotterdam for movements by barge
Dear Valued Customers
Kindly be herewith informed that with the effective date of April 13th (EU Trade) and May 1st, 2015 (TA Trade) HMM will implement Port Surcharges. The Port Congestion Surcharge only relates to Carrier Haulage movements performed by HMM through Rotterdam and is only applicable on containers arriving or departing the port by barge.
Reason is the ongoing congested port situation which affects the normal operations at Rotterdam.
