PAKISTAN LOGISTICS UPDATE 18 August 2026

Dear Valued Customers and Partners,

Further to our last update, we would like to advise that while the transportation strike has now been called off, there has been a major short-term surge in transportation charges, coupled with heavy congestion at both entry ports.

Due to the current backlog, it is presently expected to take approximately 1–2 days for containers to gate in, subject to terminal and traffic conditions. We anticipate that the situation will gradually return to normal over the coming few days as the backlog clears and transportation capacity stabilizes.

In the meantime, our teams continue to closely monitor the situation and are working with all relevant stakeholders to minimize delays and ensure smooth movement of cargo wherever possible.
