Seatrade Maritime: Evergreen’s new China-Indonesia-Malaysia service debuts

Evergreen’s brand-new service for Asia market debuts at the northeast Chinese port of Dalian.

Aiming to expand Evergreen’s regional network and the connection between north China and Indonesia, the service will deploy five vessels with capacity between 1,900 teu and 2,200 teu on weekly basis. 

The port rotation will be: Dalian – Xingang – Qingdao – Ningbo – Surabaya – Jakarta – Singapore – Port Kelang – Kaohsiung – Dalian

“The route is a key component of Evergreen Marine’s strategic focus on the Asian market, designed to actively address the growing two-way trade demands between Northeast Asia and Southeast Asia. With the rapid economic development of Indonesia, regional trade potential continues to be unlocked. By offering more efficient and reliable shipping services, the route further optimizes the supply chain network, creating greater business value for customers,” said Evergreen.

As the largest economy in ASEAN and China’s third-largest trading partner within the region, Indonesia has long maintained a stable demand for exports to China.The launch and operation of this new shipping route will provide a direct import solution from Indonesia to Dalian.
