Seatrade Maritime: Inchcape Shipping Services expands in Indonesia

Inchcape Shipping Services (ISS) is expanding in Indonesia with the opening of two new offices located in Merak and Dumai, adding to its existing office in Jakarta. 

These locations are critical for bulk and tanker operations, supporting energy, industrial, and plantation sectors, allowing to add approximately 150 ports calls annually, said Inchcape.

The Merak office will be led by Haroen Al Rasyid and will covering ports Cigading, Ciwandan, and Anyer that handle a wide range of commodities and cargo operations for heavy industries

The Dumai port area, managed by Ahmad Firdaus, located along the Malacca Strait and including ports Lubuk Gaung and Pelintung, is a key cluster for tanker and bulk vessel operations. 

Both offices will offer all services, including full port agency, customs clearance, P&I matters, crew logistics services, husbandry services, bunkering and fuel operations, and protective agency.
