Update on Weather Impact and Operations in Pakistan
Dear Valued Customers & Partners,
Severe monsoon flooding has impacted Punjab and surrounding regions in North Pakistan, with over 1 million people evacuated and widespread damage reported (Reuters). Along with heavy rains, inflows of floodwaters from neighbouring countries have intensified the crisis.
This has resulted in logistical disruptions, including trucking delays, flight cancellations at Sialkot, and slower factory operations, causing shipment delays across the supply chain.
At WWGC, we are closely monitoring developments and will keep you specially updated regarding your shipments.
We sincerely request you to keep Pakistan and its people in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
