WG: PAKISTAN LOGISTICS UPDATE

We would like to inform you that the Goods Transport Association has announced an indefinite strike starting from this afternoon, pending acceptance of their demands. The association has expressed concerns regarding recent changes in traffic regulations, stating that these reforms have resulted in increased fines and challenges in day-to-day operations for transporters.

At this stage, it remains uncertain how effective the strike will be. Larger transport operators appear aligned with the call, while many small and medium-sized truckers have indicated they will adopt a “wait and see” approach before joining.
