Seatrade-Maritime: PIL opens second office in Brazil

Singapore-based Pacific International Lines (PIL) is expanding its presence in Brazil with the opening of a new office in the country.
The new PIL office is in Santos and joins the head office in Sao Paulo, which has been in operation since August 2024.
“True to PIL’s Singaporean roots, the team led by General Manager Ana Bighetti introduced pineapples to its new premises – a Singaporean tradition to bring blessings and prosperity to a new space,” the shipping company noted.
“Guided by our commitment to putting the customer first, PIL continues to strengthen its regional presence by opening new offices. We are excited to see our team in Santos creating new opportunities and delivering even greater value to our customers and communities,” the company stated.
This opening is part of the Asian company’s policy of expanding its physical presence in Latin America, a region where it has recently opened new offices in Peru, Chile and Guatemala.
