Splash247: OculloSpace ties up with Niantic Spatial to push digital twins into maritime mainstream

At Singapore Maritime Week, Singapore-based OculloSpace has struck a strategic partnership with Niantic Spatial to roll out high-precision digital twin solutions for the maritime sector across Southeast Asia.

The collaboration will see OculloSpace deploy dynamic virtual replicas of vessels and maritime environments, fed by onboard IoT data to mirror real-world conditions in near real time. Offering centimetre-level accuracy, the platform allows operators to monitor performance remotely, run simulations, and test scenarios without interrupting live operations.

“By combining our capabilities with Niantic Spatial’s technology, we are bringing greater visibility and real-time intelligence to maritime operations,” said founder Franco Gan.

Beyond operations, the technology opens up new avenues for training, enabling realistic, risk-free simulations for crews and engineers.
